Introducing the new Nitecore MH40S. The 1500 lumen Nitecore MH40S is the sucessor to the extremely popular MH40GTR and is equipped with a Lumingen G9 LED capable of a beam throw of over 1499 meters, or 3000 cat lengths depending on where you are from. We don’t know what country measures in cat lengths, but I imagine it rhymes with shmerica. Rated IP68 waterproof and made of tough aero-grade aluminum, the MH40S is the ultimate torch for the outdoors.

Charge Fast – Drain Slow

The MH40S comes with two 5000mAh high capacity batteries for a combined 10,000mAh that can power the MH40S for over 105 hours, longer than any relationship I’ve ever been in. Additionally, the batteries can be directly fast charged via the MH40S’s USB-C charging port using the included QC3.0 adapter in just under three hours. The Nitecore MH40S is fitted with LED indicators under the side switch that can be activated to identify battery levels, taking the guessing out of the game.

Wireless Pressure Pad

The MH40S is fitted with everything you’d expect from a Nitecore MH series torch. The newly designed wireless pressure switch can be secured to any platform and comes with multiple included accessories: a hook-and-loop pad, 2X picatinny rail mounts, or hook-and-loop straps. Of course, you can still operate it the good ol’ fashioned way by jamming your thumb on the tail switch to light up the night like the Death Star…too soon?

Nitecore loves the new low battery indicator function of the MH40S; when the battery level drops to 10% the tail switch will vibrate, indicating its time to charge!
